Formed in 2015 by senior communications executives Bryan Hughes and Annie Howell, The Punch Point Group works with individuals, teams, businesses, and organizations that want to communicate effectively to consumers, key collaborators, industry colleagues, employees, boards and to the media. Collaborating with a select team of communications professionals, The Punch Point Group has worked with many of the leading organizations in the corporate, media and entertainment, nonprofit and academia spaces providing services including media training, messaging and positioning, speech prep, presentation skills training, as well as high level, strategic PR and media relations.

 

Founder & CHief Executive Officer

Bryan Hughes

Bryan E. Hughes is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Punch Point Group. He is a senior corporate communications and public relations professional with 25 years of experience in strategic campaign development and implementation, content promotion, reputation management and partnerships. Today, Bryan provides strategic counsel to a diverse group of clients including corporate leaders, non-profit advocacy organizations and entertainment industry executives. Bryan specializes in writing, communication and media training, message development, and content creation strategies designed to help clients engage key audiences and clearly communicate core values and services. His recent work includes targeted communications and message support for a variety of high-profile issues and projects from TEDx Pennsylvania Avenue to preparing leading epidemiologists for media opportunities during the coronavirus pandemic.

 

Founder

Annie Howell

Annie Howell is an communications, training and coaching executive with over 25 years of experience leading teams that excel in strategic communications, crisis communications, public relations, reputation management, brand launches and awareness building, talent management, publicity and social media. She is a writer, communication and media trainer and is an ICF certified executive coach. Prior to launching her own training and PR company, Annie led the communications departments for several media companies including Discovery Communications US Networks Division, Crown Media (Hallmark Channel) and AMC Network's SundanceTV. She also held numerous positions at two national public affairs agencies, Ogilvy & Mather and Powell Tate. She sits on the executive board of directors of the Alliance of Women in Media Foundation where she has co-chaired the annual Gracie Awards for four consecutive years. She is a regular speaker on topics including communications, leadership, executive presence, influence, personal brand, career pivots and networking.

Ali Finer

With more than 15 years public relations experience, Ali has led PR and marketing outreach for companies in the B2C and B2B sectors. Ali specializes in media relations and has garnered coverage in both national and trade publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Parade magazine. As a public relations consultant for ten years, Ali has worked with a diverse range of organizations, including The Mayo Clinic, National Wildlife Federation, EarthEcho International and several technology organizations. Previously, she served as a senior account executive in the technology and manufacturing practice at Padilla Speer Beardsley, a full-service marketing agency in the Twin Cities. Prior to Padilla Speer Beardsley, she held public relations positions with Discovery Networks, MCI (now Verizon) and Ford Motor Company.

Liz Healy

Liz began her career in international communications with Turner Broadcasting in London, growing the profile of nascent brands such as CNN and Cartoon Network throughout the UK and EMEA. She moved on to lead both trade and consumer PR strategies for other global media organizations including NBC, CNBC and Discovery. For the past 10 years she has continued to counsel clients in media as well as the sectors of hospitality, travel, arts & culture and education with insights on best connecting with their target audiences. Managing integrated programs for organizations based in both the US and the UK, Liz provides clients with tailored support throughout a project’s duration, from qualitative analyses to content creation and executing promotional campaigns. She specializes in harnessing publicity and marketing opportunities generated from research results.
